The Music Room

When our clients approached us about designing a “Music Room”, we had some questions. As it turns out, they needed a permanent practice area for no less than 3 instruments played within the family. We quickly realized we also had the space for a sitting area for the adults to relax in on the weekends. We added sage green paneling throughout the space to create a calming backdrop, and layered in pops of green, purple and gold for some flair. The neighboring staircase went through a huge metamorphosis, as it was rebuilt from the framework up. Fresh stain and the the addition of a herringbone runner with gold carpet tacks created such a moment in the entryway.
